Other material relates to the impossibility of proceeding with Vivandiere, 1976, the possibility of performing Danses concertantes, 1983-1984, a typed letter from the Bureau de Musique Mario Bois about the possibility of administering the rights of choreographers, a handwritten breakdown of characters in Manon with two copies of typed versions from the Royal Opera House Wardrobe Department, 1989, and a handwritten fax from Deborah MacMillan with a list of fees paid by the Paris Opera Ballet, 1979-1985, 6 Aug 1990

This file includes correspondence between Kenneth and Deborah MacMillan and Anne Woolliams, Peggy van Praagh and Robert Helpmann, impresarios Lilian and Victor Hochauser and Sol Hurok and the MacMillans' agent, concerning requests by The Australian Ballet to perform some of Kenneth MacMillan's ballets. There is a photocopy of the manuscript draft of an article by Margaret Dale about Kenneth MacMillan rehearsing two dancers from The Australian in the pas de deux from Concerto to be performed in Manila.

The material in this file mostly relates to arrangements for the first performance of Kenneth MacMillan's Song of the Earth by The Australian Ballet in April 1987. It includes correspondence from Maina Gielgud and David Palmer, a draft agreement for Song of the Earth, a letter with fabric swatches for costumes, photographs of dancers not in MacMillan roles, a ground plan for the Sydney Opera House Opera Theatre, a souvenir programme including Song of the Earth with cast lists, and an issue of The Australian Ballet Newsletter

Kenneth MacMillan became Artistic Associate of Houston Ballet in August 1989, the Company having previously performed Song of the Earth in 1987. They performed Gloria in 1989, Elite Syncopations in 1990 and Solitaire in 1991. The correspondence in this file is largely concerned with agreements and arrangements for these ballets and for MacMillan's role as Artistic Associate. It includes a letter of agreement for Manon which was ultimately not performed until 1993, the year after MacMillan's death. It also includes handwritten cast lists for Song of the Earth and Elite Syncopations

Kenneth MacMillan created the one-act ballet Song of the Earth for the Stuttgart Ballet which premiered on 7.11.1965 in Stuttgart. The material in this file comprises

3. Two photocopied pages, as item 1, with handwritten notes by Kenneth MacMillan for the cast for a later revival by The Royal Ballet, with a sheet of lined paper with some numbers and three names handwritten by Kenneth MacMillan
4. Four pages torn from a programme, possibly for the first performance by Birmingham Royal Ballet in 1997, with programme notes and photographs of performances by the Stuttgart Ballet and The Royal Ballet
