Full length costume portrait. Bedells is standing with her right leg on pointe and left leg extended in an arabesque derriere. Her right arm is extended forward and left arm is extended behind her which is being held by her partner, Novikoff. He is standing with his left arm holding onto his partner and right arm extended behind him. Inscription reading 'To Wendy with my affectionate good wishes, Phyllis Bedells, Xmas 1935.' is found on the bottom left corner of the image. The name of the dancers, donator, date of donation and the photographer's copyright stamp is found on the reverse.
