Kenneth MacMillan created the pas de deux Pavane for The Royal Ballet which premiered on 13 Jan 1973 at the Royal Opera House, London. The material comprises
- One handwritten note to Kenneth MacMillan from Anthony Crickmay, photographer, thanking him for Pavane. Undated
- One typed letter from John Percival, dance critic at The Times, on TheTimes Newspapers Ltd letterheaded notepaper, to Kenneth MacMillan apologising for the dismissive reference to Pavane in Saturday's paper and explaining that his review had been cut. With envelope. 17 Feb 1980
