2 x copies of the programme for a one-day conference, presented by DANSOX, on the life and work of the great twentieth-century choreographer Sir Kenneth MacMillan (1929-1992). The conference discussed MacMillan's work, the challenges of preserving the record, his literary and musical choices, design, and choreographic method. Guest speakers included: Deborah MacMillan; Dame Monica Mason; Natalie Wheen; and Anna Trevien, as well as dancers, artists, and filmmakers who worked with MacMillan. A performance/lecture explored a little known early work- Playground - concluding with a reconstructed performance by Yorke Dance Project. The event was held on Saturday 16 March, 2019, in the Jacqueline du Pré building at St. Hilda's College, University of Oxford.
