The announcement of three subscription balls to be held in June, under the patronage of Her Grace The Duchess of Buccleuch, The Countess of Shaftesbury, The Hon. Lady Stewart, The Hon. Mrs. Scott.
The notice is addressed to the 'Nobility and Gentry, Resident at Richmond, and its Vicinity', and gives details of four subscription balls, under the direction of Mr D'Egville (Ballet-Master at the Opera House), to take place during November and December 1804.
Under the Patronage of the Duke of Clarence, Martin Sanderson respectfully announces to the Nobility and Gentry that his course of Balls this season is fixed as follows: The 1st for Friday October 4th; The 2nd for Tuesday October 29th; The 3rd for Friday November 29th; The 4th for Tuesday December 31st, 1822.
