Kenneth MacMillan created the one-act ballet Checkpoint for the Royal Ballet New Group which premiered on 27 Nov 1970 in Manchester. The material comprises:

  1. Three pages of typed Production Notes compiled by someone in the Production and Technical Department at the Royal Opera House or from the Royal Ballet New Group, detailing all the issues that arose in creating the set and technical elements of the production. Uncredited and undated
  2. Two pages of typed notes titled Checkpoint - Revised Version, with scenario and description of action. Circulated by Peter Wright to Kenneth MacMillan, Mr Pyke, Elizabeth Dalton, Bill Bundy and Mr Mogridge, 26 Jan 1971
