Half length studio portrait. Bedells is seated with her back leaning against the backdrop of her tutu. Both hands are clasped and bent towards the side of her neck. The photo is inscribed and signed by Bedells "To Stella, With love and best wishes…Xmas 1951". A handwritten note suggesting the source of donation and brief background of Stella "Stella Maris Baker was a student of Phyllis's in the1950s", is found on the reverse.

Full length portrait. Bedells is standing with two bouquets of flowers in each hand and a cake placed on the floor. The flowers and cake were presented to Bedells on her birthday, at the final performance of Summer School. Ivor Guest and Peter Wright can also be seen in the picture. The event and date is handwritten on the reverse. The photographer's copyright stamp is also found on the reverse.
