Full length studio portrait in costume. Bedells is standing with her right leg bent and left leg extended forward. Left arm is extended to the side, hand holding the edge of her dress. Right arm is bent towards her torso and hand holding the edge of her dress. The image is signed by Bedells on the bottom left corner of the image along with a note reading 'To dear Dot with fondest love from Phyllis, Xmas 1931'. The name of the photographer is printed on the bottom right corner of the image. The name of the dancer, date, location and a brief description of the image is handwritten on the reverse.
