Full length studio portrait in costume. Bedells is standing with her legs in a fifth position on pointe. Both arms are low and clasped together. Head is tilted high towards the right. The date handwritten on the reverse is different to date of creation.

Note
The date handwritten on the reverse is different to the date of her farewell performance, 1935. 1931 marks the year that Bedells performed the solo as a guest artist at the Vic-Vells Ballet. The date given on record remains as 1935 as other photographs taken as part of the farewell performance (BED. 34 - BED. 36) share the same studio space and background as this image.
