MacMillan, KennethKenneth MacMillan created the one-act ballet Diversions for The Royal Ballet which premiered on 15 Sep 1961 at the Royal Opera House, London. This file contains the Benesh Movement Notation Score recorded by Faith Worth in 1961. It comprises 91 pages of score, the pages numbered 1 - 182, with front cover giving production details and copyrights, and back cover with notes in pencil which are very faded. There are two pages of score containing handwritten notes in black biro and four empty pages. The full score has annotations in pencil, dated 1968, and blue biro dated 1971.
MacMillan, KennethKenneth MacMillan received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Edinburgh on 22 Nov 1975 and from the Royal College of Art in March 1992. The black and white prints are from Edinburgh, and the colour prints show Kenneth MacMillan with Dame Vivienne Westwood and David Hockney, who received their Doctorates from the Royal College of Art on the same day, plus one portrait of Kenneth MacMillan in his robes

Sisters Doris C and Heather McDonald were regular visitors to the ballet and corresponded regularly with Kenneth MacMillan. The letters here offer criticism of Kenneth MacMillan's ballets Sideshow, Triad, The Poltroon, Mayerling, Gloria and Orpheus, as well as reports on other ballets and general news. The letters are all written and signed by Doris C McDonald, the cards have Heather's name in as well. There is a card on the occasion of the wedding of Kenneth and Deborah's wedding
