Kenneth MacMillan created the one-act ballet Miss Julie for the Stuttgart Ballet which premiered on 8 Mar 1970 at the Wurttemberg State Theatre , Stuttgart. The material in this file consists of
- Three pages of handwritten notes by Kenneth MacMillan detailing the scenario for the ballet. In black felt tip pen on pink paper
- Three typed letters from Andrzej Panufnik to Kenneth MacMillan about progress on the score, one letter giving a detailed breakdown of the score. All signed Andrzej in red ink. 22 Sep 1969, 12 Nov 1969, 11 Dec 1969 with envelope (with Panufnik re Miss Julie written on front of envelope in blue biro by Jann Parry)
- Two pages of photocopies of press cuttings of reviews of the first performance in Stuttgart, with photographs, 12 Mar 1970 and 13 Mar 1970
