Full length portrait. Bedells is standing at the front of a line of older girls standing with their left leg in a degage devant and left arm in a low second position. The image may have been captured while Bedells was training at Theodore Gilmer's in Nottingham during 1906.

Full length portrait in costume. Bedells is standing on her right leg on pointe and left leg in a low attitude devant. Left arm is holding her tutu out to the side and right arm is extended downwards. Inscription reading 'Best Wishes. Phyllis Bedells, 1911' is found on the bottom right corner of the image. The copyright stamp of the creator is given on the reverse.
