Kenneth MacMillan created the one-act ballet Gloriana for The Royal Ballet. It was first performed at the Royal Opera House on 30 May 1977 as part of a Gala celebrating the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. These photographs of Lynn Seymour and Wayne Eagling are of the dress rehearsal for that first performance (large)
